It is important that we clean the indoor air. And although we can create good ventilation at home and in the office by opening the windows, outdoor air is not the same as clean air. Outdoor air contains pollutants, nanoparticles and bacteria that come from daily traffic and production, which are not filtered out by ordinary ventilation systems and are invited inside when we open the windows, for example. Nanoparticles and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) can help promote and exacerbate chronic diseases, and it is important that we filter them out from indoor air.<\/p>\n

HEPA-filter<\/h3>\n

HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air filter and is available in filter classes\u2014H13 and H14. A HEPA filter is a bio- and micro-filter that can be used anywhere and is able to capture even the smallest particles down to a size of 0.3 microns with an efficiency of 99.97%. The filter is typically used in places where there are very high requirements for air filtration, such as laboratories, hospitals and the food industry. In addition, a HEPA filter is a highly effective filter against allergies, as air filtration can prevent and remove airborne particles that promote an allergic reaction.<\/p>\n

EPA-filter<\/h3>\n

An EPA filter is a bio- and micro-filter that can be used anywhere. EPA stands for Efficiency Particulate Air filter, and is thus slightly less effective than a HEPA filter. The filter is still in the high efficiency filter class and can be used in rooms with high air filtration requirements where HEPA filters are not required. An EPA filter is available in filter classes E10, E11, and E12. An EPA filter consists of a filter mat with randomly assembled fibers typically having a diameter between 0.5 and 2.0 micrometers. The filter can remove particles in the air down to a size of 0.3 microns, and it is therefore also a very good filter against dust allergy, among other things.[\/vc_column_text]
